That’s an old Chinese proverb that essentially translates to “talk doesn’t cook rice.”
One of the things I’ve really appreciated about my grad school program at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology is that nobody gives a shit about white evangelicalism.
It’s not out of ignorance. Many of my classmates grew up in it or have been affected by it in some way, shape, or form. But nobody’s interested in talking about the current state of white evangelicalism. Instead, people are trying to provide better resources, equip with better training, and become better mental health professionals. It’s why many of us enrolled in the program in the first place.
